C6 Holdings LLC is a holding company, which provides data mining and analytics, helping the financial sector and banking industry to improve its investment strategies, services and payment solutions.
Why is data important?
The responsible and safe use of our customers' personal information is an essential part of C6 Bank's credit granting strategy and data is a main factor for such purposes. This trust is the foundation of the bank’s relationship with its millions of customers and, being a part of C6 Bank’s Group, C6 Holdings LLC provides equitable safety on its data analysis.
C6 Holdings LLC is based in New York and, for now, it works in partnership with C6 Bank in Brazil to use the knowledge of mathematicians, statisticians and data scientists to develop algorithms that improve information analytics. The ongoing evolution of this effort leads to an improvement of the C6 Bank customers’ experience.
How does it work?
The information flow is gigantic. Between 500 to 1,000 pieces of information are produced per customer when a checking account is created at C6 Bank. In just one day, the database computes, on average, 70 million records (or 70 million new pieces of data). This data is processed, crossed and analyzed by the analytics teams.
The result of this work
Data becomes information, which then becomes money and opportunities for C6 Bank’s customers. The result of this analytics effort is the offer of better loans and banking services to people who previously would not have access to financial products in Brazil.

C6 Bank already operates in compliance with the strictest data protection parameters and laws, such as the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) in Brazil and the GDPR in Europe and so does C6 Holdings LLC.
